I stripped as much action as I could from Another Happy Place, and I’ve purposely made the film as tedious as possible, with long run on sermons from Seymour that last up to seven minuets in length. I also tried to take out any obvious narrative devices, or any thing in the plot that would keep an audience member watching for entertainment. The only things left are the characters and locations.
